Type: functional ELZAB Gamma cash drawers
Banknotes
Number of compartments for banknotes can be increased by applying the removable containers.
Banknotes are stored on two levels; the lower one is used to store the seldom used banknotes of
higher nominal values. Such solution significantly facilitates cashier work.
Removable containers for banknotes are manufactured in the following versions:
- A12 and A22 - 3 removable containers,
- B12 and B22 - 4 removable containers,
- C12 and C22 - 5 removable containers.
Coins
It is easy to modify the size and number of coins compartments according to changing needs (for instance, entering EURO currency).
The 355 mm deep drawers designs are equipped with one row inserts for coins, whereas deeper versions are provided with two rows.
Coins compartments allow applying containers to weigh the coins and to calculate the takings using scales adapted for this purpose.
Cheques, coupons, bills
There is a slot at the front of the drawer through which cheques, coupons and bills can be inserted. In deeper drawer versions - the compartment provided to store these documents is located under the insert for money.
Portable drawer insert
Removable drawer insert allows applying cover with lock and handles. Number of cover handles depends on insert size and amount 1 or 2.
Location signalization
ELZAB Gamma drawers have an opportunity to signal its current position, i.e. the open or closed condition. Utilization of this feature of drawers depends on cash device software and can consist, for instance, in signalling by cash register the open position of the drawer after the recent receipt has been printed; this prevents the next sale.
Opening the drawer
ELZAB Gamma drawers can be open using a key or also directly from cash register or a computer. The key of a lock located on the front panel of each drawer can be set in three positions: "locked", "operation mode", "open".
The drawer can also be open under emergency mode through the hole located in drawer base. Emergency opening the drawer is not possible if the lock key is set in "locked" position.

High durability of material
The front panel of the drawer is made using injection method, including the coloured plastics, which fact eliminates damages caused by enamel cissing.
Modern drawer guides
Application of movable guides instead of traditional bearings considerably influences durability of drawers and causes that their operation is silent. Warranty of failure-free and very silent operation of ELZAB Gamma drawers significantly distinguishes these devices among current market offer.
Connection of the drawer
Drawer cables are made according to RJ12 standard or are provided with connection adapted to ELZAB brand devices. Cables pins of ELZAB Gamma drawers make the optional solution. They can be appropriately selected to various makes and types of cash register devices.
Operation voltage
Nominal operation voltage: 12V (effective resistance 10 Ohm +/- 1 Ohm) or 24V (effective resistance 40 Ohm +/- 3 Ohm). Selection of one of the available voltages is accomplished by suitable adjusting the jumpers. Adjustment of jumpers can be modified according to changing requirements. The drawers can be optionally adjusted to other operation voltages.
Adapting to individual needs
Presence and number of elements of drawers inserts equipment such as: removable banknotes containers, coins compartments, containers for coins and inserts covers, depend on customer's needs. There is an opportunity to configure the inserts using non-standard arrangements and to order additional elements of drawer equipment.
ELZAB Gamma drawers are produced in twelve basic versions which differ from sizes and standard insert equipment. They are presented in the below table. Proportionally selected external dimensions and appropriately designed money inserts provide ELZAB Gamma drawers with almost twice bigger capacity comparing to drawers currently offered at the Polish market.
