The cash register modem ELZAB Telekas/GSM allows to use the mobile telephony network for communication between the software in the headquarters and the fiscal cash registers by ELZAB in a remote location.
The set includes: the GSM Siemens TC35i modem, the modem controller, the external antenna and the power supply unit.
The cash register modem ELZAB Telekas/GSM allows interchange of data with ELZAB cash registers and remote control over their work. The modem controller, which is included in the set, communicates with the cash register and preliminarily prepares and aggregates data for transmission. With the cash register modem ELZAB Telekas/GSM, the cash registers will be accessible for the computer in the head office in the same way as in direct connection with a cable.
We recommend ELZAB SoftConnect to initiate transmission on the side of the head office.
Two cash registers directly, and up to eight cash registers when two multiplexers 4xRS232 are used, may be connected to the cash register modem ELZAB Telekas/GSM.
The user may remotely read sales data, update the product base, make changes of prices in the cash registers, etc., with the cash register modem in the same scope as with the direct connection of the cash register with the computer.
The modem connection may also be used for remote diagnosing cash registers. The functional scope is consistent with the service program, except for the operations that require interference of the service specialist in the electronics of the cash register. The modem port may be used to read the mode of operation of the fiscal module, check the low battery voltage in the fiscal module, failure of the printer controller, etc.
Updating the data does not interfere with the operation of cash registers, which communicate with the managing program in the background, without disrupting sales in the cash register.
